Prepare groundnut soup


  1. Groundnut paste
  2. Chicken / meat
  3. Tomatoes
  4. Onion
  5. Salmon
  6. Tomato paste
  7. Pepper
  8. Ginger
  9. Garlic
  10. Salt
  11. Stock cube


  1. Wash the vegetables, blend the onion, ginger and garlic
  2. Wash the chicken or meat, cut into desirable sizes into a saucepan and add blended onion, garlic and ginger.
  3. Add salt and the stock cube
  4. Turn the chicken over as it steams
  5. Pour the groundnut paste in a blender, add a little water and blend(should be thick)
  6. Now pour it into a saucepan and heat, stir for about 20minutes(when the oil comes on top then it’s ready)
  7. Put the tomato paste in the saucepan you used to steam the chicken and stir
  8. Add the fresh tomato, onion and pepper and cover it
  9. Take the tomato, onion and pepper out after its cooked and blend
  10. Add the blended tomato, onion and pepper to the chicken and stir
  11. Wash the salmon, divide the two parts, remove all bones and add it
  12. After 5 minutes add the groundnut paste, increase the heat and cook
  13. After 25 minutes add salt to taste
  14. Let it cook till the oil comes on top(to know when the soup is ready, oil will form on top)

Your soup is ready, Serve with fufu, rice ball (omotuo) or banku.
