How to make African doughnuts


  1. 500g flour
  2. 200g sugar
  3. 10g baking powder
  4. 70g margarine
  5. 300g Milk
  6. 1 large Egg
  7. Nutmeg
  8. Vanilla essence
  9. Salt
  10. Oil


  1. Put the flour in a mixing bowl
  2. Next add the nutmeg and a pinch of salt
  3. Then add the margarine
  4. Add the sugar and rub them, in mix it well
  5. Crack the egg and add
  6. Pour the vanilla essence
  7.  Pour the milk and mix
  8. Mix it till there are no lumps( make sure its soft and smooth )
  9. Heat the oil(should be deep frying) so you heat enough oil
  10. Cup your fingers to scoop the mixture into the oil(you can also use spoon to scoop the mixture into the oil)
  11. Keep turning the doughnuts until it turns golden brown.
