HOW TO PREPARE GRAVY STEW

Prepare gravy stew

When it comes to gravy stew, everyone has their own style of preparing it. This is my style of preparing gravy stew at home, try out this simple and quick recipe and thank me later.

Ingredients

  1. Onion(1 diced onion)
  2. Tomato paste(1 teaspoon)
  3. 4 Fresh tomatoes
  4. Green bell pepper(2 diced green pepper)
  5. Vegetable oil
  6. Steamed chicken(diced)
  7. Salt
  8. Cayenne pepper
  9. Chili,ginger and garlic powder
  10. Curry powder
  11. Stock cube
  12. Any preferred spices

Method

Heat oil in a saucepan and saute onion, add the tomato paste and stir, then add the diced tomatoes and stir.

Continue stirring it and add the bell pepper and stir. Add the cayenne powder,chili,ginger and garlic powder and stir. Reduce the heat and cover it.

After 3-5 minutes,add the chicken then add the curry powder and stock cube and stir. Now add salt to taste and stir. let it cook for 4 to 8 minutes.

 Serve with rice, kenkey or yam.
