vanilla cake

Ingredients

  1. Margarine/unsalted butter
  2. Sugar(1 cup)
  3. Eggs(4)
  4. Heavy milk(4 cups)
  5. All purpose flour (3 cups)
  6. Vanilla extract (1 tablespoon)
  7. Pinch of salt
  8. Nutmeg (1/2 teaspoon)

Method

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Grease your cake tins or pans.

  1. Beat margarine and sugar with a cake mixer until light and fluffy.
  2. Crack eggs in a separate bowl. Pick the yolks into the mixture and beat. (this makes the sugar melts faster.)
  3. Add the white egg and beat.
  4. Add vanilla extract.
  5. Pour flour in a separate bowl.add nutmeg salt then mix.
  6. Now add the flour to the mixture in batches.
  7. pour the milk and beat until smooth.
  8. pour the batter in the cake tins.
  9. Bake (30-40min)until cakes looks golden on top.
  10. Let it cool and serve.
